Yes of course it does. You need the guide and the info available on this forum.

Get your plan together and run it past us - we will then pull it to bits and get you going again

Welcome to the forums - there are a lot of UKers on here and some of them are pretty clever - the rest of us muddle through

Welcome to the better side of the pond.

Stealth works for the UK.

Best idea is to make a plan before you touch anything on ebay/paypal. Post it here. We'll help you tweak it.

Then stealth will work for another UK user.

Good Luck

Weighing up the pros and cons, I would say stealth is easier to operate under in the UK than it is in the US.

The US have access to VBAs and bank accounts are easier to acquire but in the UK we don't get hit with SSN requests.

want to make a stealth account, i understand switching users on the pc etc,
my plan is to get a business account with the bank make it as a name like john smith ltd for example. then open an ebay/paypal account as john smith and use all the account cards etc. my issue is what is the best internet to use in the uk. i have bt broadband but when i reset my router google still tells me my local ip address is the same, although reseting the router works for sites like rapid share when you download so much but then are limited for the hour but a quick reset of the router and ur able to get the next part.

ive had 5 banned accounts in my time but now i have come accross something i feel i can get away with selling any make some good cash from and should last for a while before i get banned, im currently using a family members account but im a little concerned as im logged in to her account from linconshire area and she lives in lancashire area we both use the ebay i use it to sell she uses it to buy,

i feel i will carry on getting away with selling my items untill 1 of 2 things happens. eiether a rival ebay memeber grasses me in due to jelously becuase im the cheepest on the current items, or ebay look into my account due to logging in from 2 diffrent citys

so i suppose i have asked 2 questions 1 about the bt ip addresses also the other about listing items from a diffrent city to where the account is registerd and while its being used by both parties

thanks

Local IP? To me a local IP is the one given by your router to you PC - this IP address is ONLY to do with the network in you own house, literally only between your PC and the router. These IP addresses start 192.168.xxx.xxx.

This local IP is nothing to do with your outside-world internet IP address that other internet sites see.

Your experience with Rapid share etc sounds like your internet IP is changing perfectly well.

Go to IP Burger - What is my IP Address? Find Your IP Address! to check you outside internet IP address, reset your router, then reload IPBurger site and see if the number displayed changes.

Do read the stealth guide a few times and spend quite a few hours searching for terms on here or just reading many threads - you really need to get to know things backwards, let them sink in good over time.

Too easy to make a simple mistake on the spur of the moment (e.g. you have 2 minutes to bid on something but forget you're using the wrong account on your main PC, no time to reset router etc..) Get organised and seperate all personal ebay/pp use from your business and be strict in method.
