I got it on two accounts but this time it did not go through straight away... transfer was requested on Friday and went through exactly 24 hours later on Saturday.

For some reason, the email informing me of the withdrawal request says "up to 24 hours", not 21. And this is exactly how long it took.

the email i have says For security reasons, we are reviewing your withdrawal request, which could take up to 72 hours. After our review is complete, PayPal will release your funds. It can take up to an additional 2 hours for those funds to be deposited into your bank account

Since mine took the full 24 hours stated in the email and not the 21 hours originally stated, I assume that yours is going to take the full 72 hours.

Hmm - I get the same as Elijah on every withdrawal now - I've not yet had the 72 hours though

I've had a bit of both - some 21 hour reviews, some 24.

Looks like pp are experimenting at the moment. Hopefully it will settle down soon as Im not liking this withdrawal lottery!

Always worth giving them what they want.

The main question is do you know WHY it has been limited.

What amount were you looking to with withdraw?

Did you sell a "high risk" item?

If it's branded then you know the answer, lol. And if this is the case then that will be why you got the information request when you attempted to withdraw. If you left the cash in there forever, they wouldn't have done anything to your account... since the limitation is triggered by attempting to withdraw/spend funds associated with a "high risk" sale. PayPal is strange.

So if you sold something high-risk, that would be the cause of this, and yes it would be worth fighting for the account in this instance.
