Simple answer, no.

The p/p account is already verified so not necessary in order to make withdrawals.

well its not easy having to read between the lines all the time and its always late when reading this stuff, clear answers would help, i read before that i could add the bank account but i did not need to submit the the 2 deposits, well im not sure if or not you meant to not send the deposits in the first place or just no need to verify the account once i know what the 2 deposit amounts are.

if you cant post streight answers thats fine i understand but just pm me instead please, greenbean has been a bighelp

so is this paypal account going to be ok now i have added another bank and sent the deposits or not

thanks

When you add your bank account details, PP will send 2 small deposit which will take 2 - 3 days to arrive in your account.

Go back into PP and following the instructions and you only need one bank account, no need to waste another on the same PP ACC

thanks crafty but i dont think you know my current situation,

the paypal account is not mine but the person who owns the paypal account does not want my ebay money that has come into there account being withdrawn to there bank account for tax reasons so my options were to spend the money, or add another bank account to that paypal account,

the paypal account is fully verified. i have added another bank account to this paypal account so that i can withdraw my money to it,

the bank account i have added is not in the same name as the paypal account becuase its my account and not the paypal owners,

i was given some info by various people but i wanted to make 100% sure that by doing what i have done isnt going to cause issues or cause paypal to start asking questions.

i have added the new bank account to the account and followed the direct debit instructions so that the 2 deposits are sent and i can determin if the bank is going to acsept deposits under a diffrent name than on the account.

i was advised that i did not to verify the account, but my question was have i made a mistke by sending the 2 deposits or is it ok that i have done that, but then just to ignoir verifiying the account by filling in the despoit amounts in paypal.

hope i have explained myself well
thanks

Yes you can add another bank account and make it as your primary account but should of asked members on the forum if your bank will accept the deposits in a different name.

If you search the forum you'll find which banks are great and this that are a NO NO.....

If your bank is one that does not accept payment in another name then that PP is toast..

The likes of Barclays, Natwest, Metro and co-op are great
