Default ebay dd mandate

i have previously been banned from ebay and am now trying to get back on

i am using the direct debit details of my esavings lloyds tsb account

when trying to get verified on paypal ie they transfer a small amount of money to check account i need to fill out the direct debit mandate form,

do i put my correct details ie address etc so it can get checked? or do i just put any as i assume ebay.paypal have red flagged my name and address.? but then if the dd mandate is incorrect wont the bank just reject it ?

thanks for any help

I would stop right there young Jedi and get a different bank account

Savers are not the best at any time, couple that with it being Lloyds and there is a strong possibility that this will all end in tears before bedtime

As GrannyT has pointed out, the direct debit mandate is going to be rejected as savers do not support direct debits.

You might want to research the use of UK savings accounts with paypal before doing anything else. There was a very recent thread on the subject.

But you can use savers to verify your PP but won't be able to withdraw........

So if you are looking just to verify PP then savers should be OK.

While some may make the combination of savers and Lloyds TSB work there are far easier options.

The fact that the OP seems new to the world of stealth makes me reiterate what I say about the savers and Lloyds TSB combo. The problems with both of these have been well documented in recent threads and I see no point in attempting to do something when there is a good chance you will get shot down, when, by a little application and fore sight, you can negate these risks

thanks for the response

yep they do only need the banks address not mine but a required field is account name .. if i put the correct one wont this get linked and if i put a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ wont the bank reject the form ?

my current set up

1. new virtual pc
2 new wireless dongle and number to verify phone call
3 new email accounts
4 new lloyds tsb savings account has been activated so have a sort code and account number and money in it. (as per previous comments and thred)

only thing i cant work out is how i verify my account

ebay is ok as i can make a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ account with new email and ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name and address( real as in postcode matches up but not mine)

but then how do i verify. ebay need direct debit details, they go in ok but then ask for the direct debit form to be filled out which then gets approved by my bank. dont really want to put the ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name on that as will go to by bank. i know ebay cant see account name and address from just sort code but little stuck on this one

any help would be great .. or is it a case of s having lots of accounts so i stay under the £650 limit an as so dont need to get verified?

Are you saying you shouldn't be using a savings account to attach to PayPal? Use chequing instead? :S :S :S

Or is this thread mainly about a certain UK bank account that wouldn't affect me (Canadian) at all.....?

It is possible to withdraw to savings accounts as well as using them to verify.

i have set up a new acount under a new profile with a new name and address etc email all new this time set up using a entropay account (im UK based)

can this work for paying all ebay charges and also withdrawing money from ebay to the vcc too

if this is possible can i not just set up an unlimited amount of vcc and accounts and then just max them out at the uk limit of £650 then ditch them.

so i wont need to verify them and can use any details

only problem i can see is that they hold my money for a bit think its 20 days so unless i can leave a a lot of money sitting online i have a kind of working cash float to manage

unless there is a way arround this holding policy

any advice would be great havent fully tested so if you could save me the pain in finding out would help

Yes AND it might be better to just read & not get worried over the specifics of UK paypal. They are quite different from across the pond. (Lucky you )

k may need a little spoon feeding

ok getting a better understanding of my limits now.

dont want to/ cant go down the lines of using a friends details and dont want to reg a trading as name as little bit of a pain in uk

but think i get it

so new ebay account with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ details
1. register with vcc and set this as the method to pay ebay bills.
2 to take out withdraw money register to DirectD real account, can use any details as ebay cant check anything with sort/account .
and so no need to register dd details ie. fill out any direct debit mandate to the bank / provided i stay in limits.
3. account limits will be gradually expand as long as i am patient .... with out needing to verify

not intending to get limited but checking worst case.. dont want to get asked to verify a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ account and then have the money stuck ..

but good too see they dont just keep it and will payit out to an unverified DD account
