Old Halifax Liquid Gold a/c any good

I have an old Halifax Liquid Gold account that never been used on eBay or PayPal. Any got any idea if it's good for EB & PP. Halifax don't list it any more but it does have the same sort code as my other Halifax account.
I have Halifax e savings accounts but I don't think they are good for eb/pp looking at some of the threads on here
Any info appreciated
