Basics needed to sell on ebay

Hi again guys.

May I ask the experienced guys out there. What is the bare minimum I need to do before I can start selling?

Can I simply open an ebay account and put an auction up and worry about all the paypal linking, bank accounts, phone numbers etc later on or do I need all these things before eBay will even allow me to start an auction on a new account?

2. Have you had a banned/limited Ebay/Paypal Account(s)?
3. Do you have a product you plan to sell?

If you are completely new to selling then you have a lot to learn.

I have had one genuine account before years ago. Got banned and quit ebay. Seems like things have moved on a lot in the last 5 years or so but I want to get back in the game.

Just wondered about how much of the necessary steps do you actually have to take before you can actually put an auction up live on ebay? Will they allow you to start selling before you do all the paypal variation and identity confirmation?

There's just too much to teach and you need the basics first. So get the guide, study it
and come back here when you have questions.

There's no short cuts in this one... well there is, but I can guarantee you you will be wasting time, energy and emotions very fast.

if you just want one account, it should be enough.

What did you do B4 you could drive a motor car?

Think about that.

Relate that to ebay.

Multiply all your info by 1000%.

You are then only remotely at the start of selling on ebay.

I hate to be blunt. ( bull dust really).

There is no bare minimum.

That implies failure.

I prefer to avoid failure,

You can't sell in the UK if you do not have a linked paypal, as you have to offer paypal to their buyers.

But good that you understand that things have moved on and your fighting a totally different animal.
