Default Uk Bank DD Mandates??

This is my first post so hi to everyone. Its been a while since i last used PP and to my understanding a few things have changed.

Im getting ready to open some PP accounts and have the address, phones ,cards 3v and Entro all ready to go along with dongles and new user IDs on laptops. I also have a glut of Bank accounts ready to go.

My Problem is this, I know whenever you fill out the DD mandate you can put the address of any branch of your bank on it and have the form sent there, ie you live down south and the DD mandate goes to a branch up north that has a different sortie to the one you use and that is fine, no problems.

The last time i used pp i used @lloyds@ and the they were very sloppy in that you could also put any name on the DD form and it didnt matter.
Eg You bank in the name of G Brown and you can put W.Mandela on the form and it goes through fine. Barclays were very similar to this as well .

RBS/Natwest would only work for a couple of wks before the pp account was suspended.Cant remember what happened with the other banks.

Does anyone Know what UK bank are still sloppy in 2012???

Has anyone tried the Building societies????
Has anyone tried the foreign banks like bank of china, india and america that are now in major uk cities????

Please accept my apologies for being a bit scarce with info but always bit nervous about using public forums, am only doing so because i wont have the resources for a full Round of R+D for another 6Months and need to open PP in next couple of weeks. I know i can just change my name at the Bank if I didnt care about the Credit File but that isnt an option at the moment.

Many Thanks in Advance.

Happy Hunting

The DD will go through fine with the name used on the p/p account, just put in the correct address for your branch or the head office address for the likes of co op and halifax
