yeah of course theres no right or wrong answer here.

but you can obviously buy a 3v voucher for any amount and for me personally it's a better choice than entropay for reliability, customer service and overall value.

I think the 3V vcc you can buy (where you get just the card number on a gift card and the other details are emailed to you) is the best..but it's down to personal opinion..

i mean others have recommended vanilla..so its really choice.

But perhaps we should say entropay works and is reliable IF you know how to use it correctly as outlined..if you don't then 3v or another method maybe a easier way for noobs..

BTW a 3v card is a physical card not a vcc so your not really comparing like for like.

There's a place for any card, physical or virtual that can be used with p/p.

As I said before each to ones own.

It's not, and everything is still virtual so it can't be used "in real life" like a physical prepaid or bank issued card can. The card just gives you an activation number and 6 digit code to enter onto the site, after which you get your VISA card number. So it's not all that different to the voucher... once activated, there isn't any difference between the two.

Poor wording from me above.

Granted, once activated they are indeed similar but as you say the activation number required is linked to a physical gift card that has to be purchased from a retailer.

e/p has the advantage of being available online whenever you need it without the need to trawl your local stores looking for a 3v card which in a lot of instances are not that easy for people to find.

As I said there is a place for every card, it's all a matter of personal choice.

Well am just saying what people are telling me.

.perhaps you could enlighten people on why they would pay the ridiculous charge amounts to load a vcc card with entropay?

over just buying a voucher using the vcc method we all know that ends in v lol

Adding lol defeats any reasonable discussion on the topic LOL.

One of its most ideal factors is you do not need to leave the comfort of your home and go out to the world to collect the goodies.

For really serious stealthers time is money. Trecking out around the 'burbs to grab a piece of paper negates that, imo.

You, yourself, stated you have troubles obtaining what you wanted. You, yourself, stated, you spoke to shop assistants that were not clued up as to what your precious 'v' is.

In the time you undertook that pointless joruney, some of us were probably able to have used entropay to make vcc's and attach them to paypal. Thus we are several steps well ahead of you. Unless entropay's system is down, it's virtually instant. How many shops in the UK always have the 'v'?

You have also overlooked something crucial to your claim of entropay not working. Not all users reading your claims have access to the 'v'. Not all users are in the UK. So why pontificiate a pointless message?

It's called practicality with those of us suggesting using it. Its usage is sound business.

It can be used successfully as part of a portfolio of cards, and not just the one card. Again, sound business.
lol lol lol

Hi well actually the only problems I had greenbean with getting 3V were due to my local stores as i live in a small town in the country. I actually got a list of 3v retailers off the internet from someone on here and they have 3v in nearly all UK cities, so the only reason i struggled to get the 3v actual cards was as i specifically preffered to get the card, the voucher you can get from any paypoint shop which sainsburys, co op have.
And in the end I found one in the next 'big town' to me, so wasn't that much of a problem.

I'm just stating that you all promote entropay, but there customer service is terrible. This is again my opinion and as Noneother said it's each to their own..people have their own opinion. But for me I stay well away from entropay because of their extremely high loading fees, and i'd rather pay 3V who i know i can use safely and should I have any problems they reply within 2 working days or have a number to contact on.
Entropay in my eyes are just like paypal but even worse. At least with paypal you get limited, they just never reply to you or send you copied and pasted messages.
Again my opinion, but look at entropay's loading fees to 3V..(and this is for UK)

As a final point before I bow out of this I have to say I have never had any issues with e/p cs, always been on the ball with any queries from me.

As for 3v, I live in a big city and visit many cities and towns around the country and tbh rarely find 3v in any of the retailers that are supposed to stock them, despite what their website says. If they do have them they are usually hidden away in an obscure spot in the store or behind stacks of stuff at the checkout counter and the staff haven't got a clue what they are if you ask.

As GB says, in business time is money but hey!, we all place different values on our time.

TBH 3v is probably the last option I would use when it comes to prepaid cards and vcc's, there are much better and easier ones around. Oh! and they are all cheaper than e/p for loading fees too. ;)

That's fair enough Noneother, i'm not arguging with anyone just saying my opinion..:)

We know why it does not work.

It has not been used correctly.

End of story.

I'll only add, that this is a highly perceptive & intuitive observation.
