Best VCC for the UK

I have previously used Entropay but is no longer listed in the stealth guide, Barclays gift card is but seems to be discontinued- whats the best/easiest?
Anyone used an Orange cash card?

sax4 11-09-2012 05:35 PM

Entropay still fine for UK

Wonder what happened to it?

entropay is sound for UK.

imo, it's the easiest.

I'm Irish so I dont touch 'orange' ;)

Paddy there is a more secure and cheaper way than entropay (entropay charge loading fees) and there customer service is terrible.

I have PM'ed you as your a subscribed member to let you know the better ways for a VCC

The thing is with Entropay, once you have sent them your ID then there isn't much need to contact CS. I emailed them to say I travel around and log in from some weird countries. They haven't troubled me since.

moneyhustler88 11-15-2012 06:45 AM

Yeah but entrays loading fees ar wors than PayPal IMO..I prefer another option myself..but that's my opinion

NoneOther 11-15-2012 06:47 AM

All part of the cost of doing business.

I never have all my eggs in one basket so use a number of options. You never know when e/b or p/p are going to put the blocks on a card type or payment method.

Be a Boy Scout, always be prepared.

Options, options, options.

moneyhustler88 11-15-2012 06:49 AM

Yep I agree personally .

Myself I don't use entropay too expensive

NoneOther 11-15-2012 06:58 AM

IMO a few extra quid over the course of a year is a small price to pay to ensure your business runs as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Banking and other related financial charges are an allowable business expense.

I should add, for those that run legit businesses and declare their income to the tax authorities.

sax4 11-15-2012 09:49 AM

Entropay fees don't bother me. I only use them for verification

rsot 11-15-2012 01:18 PM

mh88, there are always fees - you just direct your business accordingly then

moneyhustler88 11-16-2012 01:28 PM

Well if you buy with the vcc i'm on about theres no fees as they charge £1 to verify but you get it back after a few days anyway..so why pay entropay loading fees which IMO are stupidly high when you could just get a voucher of the same with no problems or even a card?
Plus i logged on today and have 13 notifications from people asking about vcc as entropay automatically gets your paypal limited..so i was right its not working for UK

NoneOther 11-16-2012 01:37 PM

I've used entropay to confirm 3 p/p accounts this week and none of them have been limited.

In fact I've never had a p/p account limited as a result of adding or confirming an entropay vcc

Each to ones own I suppose.

Load of tosh.

13 people who cannot make PayPal accounts correctly.

Entropay still is perfect for stealth purposes.

You've been dining out on entropay not working for far too long.

We know why it does not work.

It has not been used correctly.

End of story.

rsot 11-17-2012 08:50 AM

Nice work NoneOther - just did one early last morning to test something out - did work.

It's not news.

Correctly done, entropay works.

Issue is getting the message to those who do not make the correct use of the card.

:pout:

moneyhustler88 11-17-2012 11:06 AM

Well am just saying what people are telling me.

.perhaps you could enlighten people on why they would pay the ridiculous charge amounts to load a vcc card with entropay?

over just buying a voucher using the vcc method we all know that ends in v lol

NoneOther 11-17-2012 11:13 AM

Perhaps because they work consistently, are convenient, flexible, dont have set spending limits and dont have short expiry dates.

These are just a few of the reasons why people are prepared to pay loading fees for e/p rather than use 3v vouchers.

We're not all penny pinchers.

moneyhustler88 11-17-2012 01:22 PM

3v don't have short expiry dates its 1 year on the cards you buy..no idea for vouchers..and entropay fees of loading make it more expensive anyway

You only made reference to vouchers not cards.

BTW a 3v card is a physical card not a vcc so your not really comparing like for like.

There's a place for any card, physical or virtual that can be used with p/p.

As I said before each to ones own.
