Paypal gift

Hi

I received some money from someone, they said they would send as a gift. I received the payment(i did not get an email from PP though), but the payment doesn't say anything about it being a gift and says "it can be reversed"

This person has sent me a regular payment right?.

If the refund option isn't there then it's a gift.
Also you won't be charged the paypal fee for receiving a gift payment.

also is their address showing or not, under the details of the credit?

Both the above will indicate if it is a gift or not.

No delivery address showing = gift

It is also possible for a gift payment to be reversed.

paypal did a reversal of a gift payment for a UK Charity for several of us.

Horrible thing to happen.

Mentioned the media to get it sorted. Such cowards.
