Default Good news for uk royal mail customers

Walked into the post office today and saw a change in the little stand thing where u measure your large letters and stuff.
It was a new one with a new size for small parcels and the thing i sell fits through that which means cheaper rates for me.

This is good news as you can save alot on shipping.

Changes from 2nd april 2013

Not good news for me. I'm being shafted by them once again.

There isn't even the opportunity to bulk buy stamps as the letter prices are remaining unchanged.

Real pity as I made an extra £2000 profit last year by doing that.

Not for me, my standard is £3.69 and this would increase to £4.10

These Royal Mail prices are just a rip off

Hermes would actually be around £3.90

What other company are good for 0.350kg

I should of re-phrased that.

I won't be getting shafted as I will be passing on the shafting to my customers.

I am in exactly the same position, and if I don't put free P+P on my items I get stung on the DSR's regardless of even if I only charge £1 for a £3.65 item! The other choice is sending it via 2nd class, save a few pennies there, but then people complain about the dispatch time.

Can't find anything cheaper than this however that offers signature on delivery. MyHermes does without signature, but then may as well stick with Royal Mail...

With the new spring seller updates, to get top rated seller status you have to offer free shipping on some of your items to.

Not to mention the next day delivery options you have to offer

I send all my parcels recorded as i have been conned to many times so £4.10 is pretty steep!

Goodbye TRS for many people!

On ebay i can charge buyers postage, but hard for other sites because have to offer free postage.

Only Hermes is coming handy, i mean if you post like 100 parcel a week, then i guess you do save alot

I cannot be bothered with stamps anymore but used to use them aswell,

some of the looks I had from people in the post office when you bring amogst other parcels an Airsure to USA which is just under 2KG and has around 60 2nd class stamps
