Using my stealth laptop abroad....
 

Hi,

I’m going away for a couple of days to Germany (from UK), will I be OK, using my laptop for stealth (that I normally use in the UK with all cookies etc) in Germany using the hotels IP’s or my iPhone (worst case)?

What other method can I use for operating a UK stealth abroad?

This is what I have done. I have not had issues.

Firstly I make sure nothing is being sold on my ebay account.
I close the shop.

I then email paypal. I ask them for their advice about going overseas and needing to 'use' their wonderful services. I get an email with advice.

I have had no issues then.
Just last March I did this. Had no troubles at all. I could withdraw funds, pay for items off ebay. My IP was different. But my cookies etc were not.

Solid advice given by GB, follow it and you can't go wrong.

I was travelling to Europe from UK for over 5 years using EB/PP with no problems only that when withdrawing to my bank via PP some times I had a 48h security check delay notice otherwise funds were instant and appeared in my bank same day.

I got suspended for opening a new EB acc that got linked when I was green:heh:

Detecting a foreign IP may raise flags.
I used my UK ebay account while i was in India for a few weeks with no issues. But I was not selling anything during that time.

Cheers for all the help guys. Thankfully, I had a weekend of slow sales, and no questions, so I can pick up where I left off now i'm back.
