Limited Company

I registered my Ebay and PP Stealth accounts few months ago and verified them (with help) as a business seller. Now, few months on, I have started listing and selling slowly.
The problem is when I registered ebay & paypal accounts I was self employed, now the company is LTD.
The business name provided on ebay and paypal is the same as my new LTD company.
The director of the LTD company (me) is banned from Ebay and Paypal.
Recently when increasing limits ebay asked if it is a limited company... I said no because if I say yes then I presume they ask for company number and then they can see the company director is the person banned from ebay! What do I do?
Do I just make them think I am still self employed? That is what I have done.

It is your choice of what you do tbf.

Me will, i would never ever give paypal or ebay my real limited company details or trade on ebay in them.

the first mistake here is that you have called you ebay account the same name.

Imagain this.....You build up the eby and pp so its doing nice trade.

you have a website in the same name......<makes things worse if you do.

you do a google search for your name or stuff your selling and BAM your all over the place nice you might think....but if you eby goes down...it can effect you website trade. pp gateway on your website will most probally be shut down, thing can go downhill fast from there.

Run as many ebay and PP accounts as you like in a so called trading entity.

Run you website or sites in other ones.

Keep them separate for 100000000000 of reasons.

What really matters its that your paying your tax's on your earnings and can prove it to the tax man with invoices.

i just make invoices for all customers with the name and address of the trading entitys wether it ebay or website.

the ones for the tax man are the same except with my Ltd name and address accross the bottom.
