Activity: 0% Longevity: 77% | | £1900 bids will go over limit
I just realised, I only got £200 left before paypal might give me the lift limits at £1900 email.
I am listing something and it has bid way over what I was expectin and will breach receiving limit by a long way.
will I be able to withdraw money or will it get held?
I want money out in case verification goes wrong.
do I get certain amount of time to submit id if I go over limit or do I need to do it straight away and they hold money ??
if you tell me that the money will get held, is the best thing to do to add a different paypal to it??

It will get held until the docs have been provided.
I would not add another PP, that would just cause potential issues later on.
Get the docs submitted asap.
Worse comes to worse you will just have to wait 180 days.

good luck | More poor advice. Never a good idea to harass paypal over document reviews. It can end badly.

the add another paypal option, it depends, it can be done but risky....l did it once but a long while ago before forum, for different reason, I sold something for a relative and wanted payment to go direct to them......I hear on the forums it is doable but not long term......

also did you know that the email can come before £1900, you said you were £200 away, so you need to be careful at about £1600 onwards....

I think there is £1400 received already, so you sayin it is not £1900 it is £1600????
do I need to earn £1900 or over to get funds held or £1600? if the notification is at £1600
does that mean it is held from that point or not until £1900?? because there may be some negotiation I can do with buyer to keep it just under
but i really need clear explanation and would be very greatful asap!!

An automatic trigger for a request of docs happens at £1650.
You can carry on selling and withdrawing until you hit £1900.
At £1900 the account get limited until docs are provided.

You will get a request for documents when you hit £1650. At this point you can still withdraw from the account.
The account becomes limited when you reach £1900.

| It is a bad idea. Avoid calling PP or EB when ever possible. Why draw attention to your account unnecessarily?

yes, sorry should have clarified, what I meant was if you go up to £1600 ish you are ok
no need for docs, but if you go over this you can still receive/withdraw/send up to £1900 but docs need to be provided or you will not be able to do any more trading.....

if you tell me that the money will get held, is the best thing to do to add a different paypal to it?? | Another point is that paypal could reverse the payment regardless.
Has the account had enough activity to handle a large amount? |

it has been running a year and had several hundred go in.
The auction is runing out in a day and no result from lift limts yet. Is it a bad thing to add a different paypal to the auction? it is in different name and address details.

for me it is better idea than receive money and if verification refused and hold money.
I would like few more views, maybe people who have done it and outcomes.

You run the risk of loosing both accounts if you do that, and any eBay account the second PP is linked to.

It does not work long term because their accounts get shut down due to all the mismatching info.
Which bit do seems weird?

The auction itself will be linked to your PayPal. Only way to remove link is to change the payment business policy on the auction (which can only be done under certain circumstances)
If you want to get paid by PayPal, why do you want to remove PayPal fromt he auction?

my paypal is under review, what I do not want is money going in to it until I am ready. I want option to invoice them with the paypal but not necessarily straight after auction. I also want option of invoicing them with a different paypal if the other verification fails.
It is a mess but i have to deal with it now, as bids went right over what I expected.
I need to know if this is even possible for UK.
if i remove paypal link, does if affect aution eg. does it mean i am no longer offerig paypal if no link??
