linking bank account to entropay
 

Hi guys, struggling to link my bank account to entropay account. When i click link account it comes up with a page of account details to transfer my funds to. However there is no sort code...

from what i understand i have to transfer money from my bank account the the above details. But it does not give a sort code which i need to transfer.

I am getting help from entropay support on this

Entropay doesn't really help. I questioned them, always got the same answers.

What specifically are you needing help with? Entropay's sort code?

It is easy to extract a sort code from a UK IBAN number:-

eg GB15MIDL40051512345678

These 6 digits are the sort code.

entropay can be slow.

Are you not going to use either your debit or credit card to make the transfer quicker?

well, the account details ENTROPAY offered doesn't have sort code. I don't think money can be transferred from your actual bank account to virtual ENTROPAY card without sort code.

Entropay charged 1 poounds from me but no 6-digit code in my bank statement. Called Natwest and was told no 6-digit code at all. So I contacted ENTROPAY again how to verify my ENtropay account, was told another way to transfer the funds, but how to do without sort code?

Still haven't received the right answers from ENTROPAY. Always got the same answers. They are not serious

I just told you how to get the sort code. You can get it from the IBAN.

Much easier and faster to use your debit card to upload funds. You get it in your account within seconds without risking your money getting lost in space somewhere with bank transfer..

When uploading funds into the Entropay account can I use any debit/credit card (even ones that have already been linked to a suspended eBay account) or will I have to use the a debit/credit card associated with my stealth account?

You can use any card. Entropay is separate to PayPal and ebay.

I made a new current account with Natwest the other day and received my Visa Debit card today. Will I need to add any funds into this card to get started or is it okay to have no money in there.

If you do not plan on using the Natwest Visa card then there is no need to have funds on there.

If you want to use it to fund Entropay then you will need funds available in the Natwest account if you do not have an OD facility.

You will need a funded Entropay card to use on PP

Yes in that case I will transfers some funds into this natwest account and use it to fund the entropay account as this makes it a lot easier for me to keep track of.

I funded my EP accounts with real credit cards...fast and had no problems

Can i use my bank account debit cards on entropay which have been limited on my stealth pp accounts??

Entropay is a different company from paypal.

That debit card can be used to fund your new entropay account, yes.

@Sebecaa, PP and Entropay are not the same company so that's fine to use the debit card on the EP account
