24 hour listings?

Am I right in thinking that you can list auctions for 24 hours?

Iv just put some old DVDs lying around the house up for auction on a couple of new stealth accounts and the quickest auction was 3 days? Any ideas folks?

I fairly sure you need to have 10 seller feedbacks before you can list 1 day auctions.
