Default Mc043

Hello guys,

Ive search around for the mc043 message and only old threads came up with no updates so started a fresh one to see if theres any news on this and what to do.

the email is below, and it also asked me to make the changes within 48 hours or my account will be suspended...so i have until tomorrow to come up with a solution else I will literally have to find a job. Ive started searching for jobs since i saw the email...REALLY panicking right now. Any help on what I can do??

We realise that privacy concerns could mean you're reluctant to register all your details with us, or you might have just forgotten to enter or update your details.

Here's what you should do now:

Please update your contact information within 48 hours to avoid the possibility of suspension of your eBay membership. Here's how:

1. Go to My eBay > My Account > Personal Information.
2. Click 'edit' next to any details that need updating and click 'save'.

If you don't want to list your home telephone number, you can list a voicemail number or a work number instead.

Account is 2 years old

If it is only the phone number, grab a Pay-As-you-Go and save the account.

im not sure if its only the phone number...theres no way of me knowing. I hope its only the phone number. The only thing i can really do is change the mobile number on my ebay account and put that sim in a mobile and keep it switched on for however long.

this was the only account that had a high selling limit. I have 4 others but theyre only 10 items a month and 1 is 25 a month. really depressed right now.

sipgate.co.uk ( http://www.sipgate.co.uk/ ) gives you a number for free and you just use your computer and a cheap headset off ebay to use it. And it will be in your area.

You can also set up voicemail or redirect the calls.

Hopefully it is just the phone and it sounds like it.

Yes you can use a mobile number, as long as its not linked to another ebay account.

You do know that this email is not a definite suspension, they have obviously tried to call you and your number is outdated and are just trying to get you to update your details?

Just do it.. it really does not sound like anything to stress about.

Hope you get this sorted - start building other backups as well just in case. Sorry to hear about your depression
