| | | ash213 | 07-21-2014 12:43 PM | Where to upload docs? So have a new pp.
Need to upload docs for proof of ID.
BUT...i have the new interface for the account and i cannot for the life of me, find the god damn button about raising limits or uploading ID.
It has simply disappeared, its no where.
Any advice on where to find?
Thanks |

| blueuk | 07-22-2014 03:24 AM | Re: Where to upload docs? I don't think he is limited, rather looking for somewhere to upload documents to lift the £1900 receiving limit.
I've no experience with the new interface and lifiting limits so cannot help. Have you tried the resolution centre? |

It is a brand new account.
Registered this week.
I went through the process of adding a bank account, card, etc.
Then I had to confirm ID, etc, went through process then it said cannot be verified so need to upload docs to confirm ID.
The page then re-directed me to the pp account page with new interface, where i cannot locate the page to 'lift limits' or upload docs.
I have recieved an email thanking me for confirming bank which has raised one of the limits, maybe the withdraw limit.
So to conclude i need to upload docs, but cannot for the life of me, find the button or location on new layout for this.
Steve, please dont post on this thread.
blueuk -> thank you for your response. |
| Ebayorbust | 07-22-2014 04:48 AM | Re: Where to upload docs? There's a lot of reported issues with the "new look" Paypal website. If you can see an option to switch to the Classic Website then try that.
If that fails then contact Paypal and ask for assistance. |

have a nice day. |

cheers | Seems to me, there is a date after which new accounts can not switch to anything.
Faxing might be the next option.

| undercoverdon | 07-22-2014 09:19 AM | Re: Where to upload docs? I uploaded documents today with the new layout. Click on the Business Profile button which is next to the logout button then go on Business set-up, then click on account set up and you should see "lift limits and move money more easily" Click that and it will take you to the lift receiving limits page. |
| GoteBay | 07-22-2014 09:25 AM | Re: Where to upload docs? With the new look, warning flags will appear near the logout button or just above the summary on the main page.
If you are not able to proceed, you have a good excuse to pick that phone and dial PayPal.
Good luck! |
| ash213 | 07-24-2014 06:25 AM | Re: Where to upload docs? I stumbled across the part to upload docs but when I submitted them it redirected me to the home page of account.
Do you usually get a reply email saying thanks? I can't remember.
Worried they haven't gone through.
New look site is all over the place .
Now when I go back to the upload page there is nothing there. No docs.
But I can upload. Should I upload again or wait? |
| ash213 | 07-25-2014 02:36 AM | Re: Where to upload docs? tried again and re-directed me to home page after upload.....
any other way?
afraid to phone.
i can fax with the cover sheet but surely that goes to some where in the UK and some one with brains will look at it?
i want it going direct to foriegn call centre.
i tried emailing with the usual email section on ebay but got automatic replys.
anyone know an email address to contact them with?
cheers |
| Ebayorbust | 07-25-2014 02:40 AM | Re: Where to upload docs? Even if you fax it to the UK number (the 08707 one IIRC), it will still likely be reviewed by someone outside of the UK.
It is only when impatient folk start phoning up asking why they are being kept waiting that competent Paypal reps (yes, there is such a thing) start to look at the account. |

how on earth do i fax in 2014?
is there a method of doing it without a fax machine?!
thanks again |
| Ebayorbust | 07-25-2014 02:59 AM | Use efax.co.uk
Sign up for their 30 day free trial but use a vcc loaded with £1 as cancelling the subscription can be difficult. |
| GreenBean | 07-25-2014 03:10 AM | Re: Where to upload docs? As usual Ebayorbust is in the know.
Make sure you keep track of the EXPIRY date of the free subscription.
They are nasty about cancelling.
Good Luck

| Ebayorbust | 07-25-2014 06:04 AM | Re: Where to upload docs? Just to clarify:-
448707301860
A couple of days to get the "It's in our system" email followed by up to another 4 weeks to get reviewed.
Edit: I amended this. 00 would be added if sending from outwith the UK. ;) |

| ash213 | 07-29-2014 01:49 PM | Re: Where to upload docs? Still no notification that docs are in the system.
Sorry for pushing this again, just a little worried.
First the online portal was not working correctly on this to upload.
Now, no fax regarding receiving the docs. :bored: |
| Ebayorbust | 07-29-2014 02:38 PM | There are loads of threads stating the delays regarding document reviews. You have even posted on at least one of them.
What are you wanting folk on here to say?
HAVE SOME PATIENCE & WAIT!! |
| ash213 | 07-29-2014 03:32 PM | Re: Where to upload docs? Yes fully understand the big wait for them to review, but was hoping by now to get a notification to say they are in the system.
I wait.
Thanks. |
| andyf777 | 07-30-2014 08:04 AM | Re: Where to upload docs? I had this issue trying to find the 'upolad docs' section in the new look pp.
This is how to find it:
On the top right of the screen, click the 'person' type logo (profile)
Click business set-up (or account setup if not a business pp)
You will see 'payment setup' and 'account setup'
You will then see
*Link your bank account
*Confirm business name display on statements
*Lift limits and move money more easily
Click the last one (lift limits) and you will then find the section you are looking for to upload docs. |
| ash213 | 07-30-2014 12:20 PM | Re: Where to upload docs? i will try this later
thanks for the heads up. |

Right, just went through this process and its exactly what i have been doing previously to get the docs to them.
When i upload the docs then click , send to paypal, or whatever the button is, it just re-directs me to the paypal account page.
When i go back to the lift limit page and the docs page, the files are not there.
So god knows if they went or not.
- I have faxed them but like i said no response at all, no acknowledgement.
which is worrying.
-should i try another browser?
im using firefox. |
| donkeykong2012 | 10-21-2014 10:01 AM | Re: Where to upload docs? Curious to know if you resolved this issue.
I have a slightly different issue with a few PP accounts.
There was a glitch in which no upload link has appeared at all. I have attempted to switch between the new and classic look, and I have not found a link anywhere.
The E-Fax option is interesting, I was wondering if Ash had a response?
Wondering if I will have to call PP to insert a link for me when I come to upload Docs......... |
| ash213 | 10-22-2014 08:58 AM | Re: Where to upload docs? Hi
I uploaded, or tried to upload the docs a zillion times, then used efax, never got a response, not from the emails, the fax or the uploads.
on my account in the back end, it still asks me to upload docs however, i now have no limit on the account and have taken in over 5k in to the account
so i suppose some wherre the docs were reviewed and OK'd, just the account is a little buggy i suppose.
