Default I messed up.....(sort of)

Okay so I've sold products on ebay and have 23 listings left for this month and today I got a message from paypal saying that they cannot restore full account access until I provide Tracking information for the last five payments and Original receipts or invoices referencing your purchase or acquisition of the items you are selling, along with the name and telephone number of your supplier(s).

I think I messed up because I tried to withdraw £70 which was more than half of my account balance at the time. Lol I know.

On Paypal's website I only need to provide tracking information for one item and invoice of item I sold. The tracking information isn't a problem as the person who sent the item will give it to me on Monday. The issue is the invoice. I have to provide an invoice for that item but I'm not sure if it will work, plus I sold the item for someone so the person is who has all the invoices. I have an image of a spare invoice but will that be enough?

As long as the invoice has YOUR details on, and not someone elses, and is from a decent supplier, you should be fine.

What's the reason for your limitation? Did you try to withdraw the moment the funds hit your account?

Nope

Honestly there are 3 reasons why this could of happened.

. Withdraw more than 50% (I know amateur mistake lol)
. Listings was reaching the limit
. Someone reported me

It's one of these and I've completed everything so far except invoice part. I have the options to provide an invoice, receipt or acquisition of the items I am selling, along with the name and telephone number of my supplier(s).

The problem is someone bought the products for me so providing an invoice is out the options. The receipt and acquisition seem to be my only options. The specific item was bought in Hong Kong so it's not a UK supplier. Any way I can overcome this?

I never leave money in paypal in any of my accounts so not sure why this would do anything.
used to before they changed and it was odd getting interest back off paypal, as it really messed up my accounts, as I could not figure where to put it.

. Listings was reaching the limit

Is this that new account they gifted you?
then if so why not go through the ID process and remove the limits as you have already sent the info in once, so you already have it ready.

. Someone reported me

Reported you for what?

This is my new account they said I can create. There is a glitch on my PP account. When I try to confirm personal details it takes me to the home page and on the confirming page it says you have successfully lifted your withdrawing and receiving limit. Weird.

And - while I dont expect you to share it - a lot of PP's decision could depend on what you are selling...regardless of invoices...keep that in mind

Saying what I sold would spark a bigger discussion and offensive "friendly" banter would be coming my way. I seek help not laughter.

I don't think anyone expects you to say what you sell, and on an open forum it is advisable to keep that to yourself anyhow.

But even though I doubt you are selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ due to the scrutiney your account has been under, you may be selling items that bring you problems.

there is probably a list someplace on here of items that set off problems for your account, either through paypals old puritan streak or the fact they seem to atract some idiots as buyers and are now seen by ebay as problem items.

I am still unsure why you are unable to provide invoices, as I am not sure how someone else can be buying the product for you. Is this a family member or some form of dropship set up?

It has been solved now. I will get my account back once the buyer receives the item.
