Does ebay read my desktop/folders/dropbox

If I think I am safe from previous ebay life. cleaned cookies. Delete passwords, bookmarks and all ebay software BUT my desktop still contains all its folders and apps like dropbox , filezilla, cccleaner,teamviewer, thunderbird e.t.c Is it not possible that somehow ebay might have dropped some sort of tracking malware or beacon into any of this folder/files/apps on my desktop and could easily establish a connection?

Not sure, but don't use any of the ebay apps. Like turbo lister, firefox/chrome add ons etc.

Never used any ebay app or lister. If there is a slight reason to believe they snoop on my desktop then it would be best practice to get a brand new one

Use a new windows user account as well - eB hasn't been known to be so snoopy about unrelated materials...

Ebay will not see that and do not use "malaware" but, ...just to be safe and sleep good dreams... why don't you create another user account and manage your eBay from there?

Do you mean creating another user accounts on my desktop? If YES, then thats what I intend to do based on an earlier thread I posted here:

But I just wanted to be safe they havent penetrated files on my other user user deskptop as I have a lot of assets in those files I couldn't just delete them.

Getting a brand new computer might just be the safest option if there is a slight indication they snoop.

Think of it. I could get a used and formated laptop for £150.

Think of it. I could get a used and formated laptop for £150.

No need to buy a new PC. Operate from a different user account and, as many other members already told you, get yourself the stealth guide.
It costs much less than a new PC and saves you a lot of time and a lot of typing in here.
