Changing DOB on PayPal

Hi guys

Does anyone know how to change DOB on PayPal.

I registered etc but its different to the passport document I submitted.

I called up and she said its not passing security and asked for DOB.

I gave her DOB and she said they don't match and thats why passport is passing security.

As an example DOB on PayPal is 01/01/1989 when it should be 01/01/1979

I told her something has gone wrong and hung up. (she's probably made a note on the account too)

Is there anything I can do to change the DOB

The thing is, if she asked for your DOB and you gave her an answer that did not match the passport, then it would imply that IF there was an error, it is with the PASSPORT and they will probably tell you to go and get the passport fixed.

If it was TRULY just one digit off, like 1979 instead of 1989, then you would just say it was a typo when you put the information into PayPal. THAT would have been the most plausible way to fix it.

Of course, that would not matter if the DOB's were TOTALLY different, like 07/01/1979 and 04/23/1985.

And if it is a complete mismatch: "Oh my goodness, I can't believe I did that. That is the date of my best friend who died over ten years ago. He was always buying me things from eBay. I must have been thinking of him when I was entering my information."

I had no idea there was a mismatch on the PP otherwise I would have rectified it long time ago
