ebay check for ltd.?

Does ebay check companieshouse (or other sources) for the beneficiary owner or director of a ltd. company if the company opens an ebay acc?

Re: ebay check for ltd.?

they might, anyone can look.

doubt they would look routinely, unless they were on safari for some reason....

Re: ebay check for ltd.?

so it's better to change the director after opening the bank acc?

Re: ebay check for ltd.?

bank acc? what has that got to do with it?

Re: ebay check for ltd.?

No paid nominee director will open a bank account. The person who forms the company has to do it by him-/ herself.
Then the director can be changed and the ebay account be opened.

Re: ebay check for ltd.?

Who would you be changing the director to?

Best not to get friends and family involved in things like this.

Ar3s 01-13-2015 03:38 PM

Re: ebay check for ltd.?

some professional nominee director provided by the formation company.

If this is for the UK, all the info needed for a business account is traceable.

Think carefully of any actions you take.

Ar3s 01-13-2015 03:43 PM

Re: ebay check for ltd.?

Then it will be a little bit more difficult as I'll have to find a nominee director who will open the bank acc. as well as the ebay acc.

Re: ebay check for ltd.?

Why not just stick with a sole trader and premier PayPal?]

What do you hope to gain by going with a Ltd company?

Re: ebay check for ltd.?

Forming a company is easier for me then searching for a trader I can work with. Ltd. formation can be done online. As I'm not from or in the UK it seems to be easier.
Another aspect for me is less liability

Re: ebay check for ltd.?

There is no hassles if you run as a sole trader.....there is no database to search for the owner of the sole trader company. This works in your favour as Joe Bloggs could be running the business.

But the bank where I would open a business account want some form of ID personally presented.
Beside that I'm not UK resident as they won't open a bank account for non residents very easy. At least not the high street banks. Just had a conversation this morning with Barclays International department and the lady told me that they only open bank accounts for non UK residents if there is an anual turnover of GBP 5 mln. whether it's a Ltd.; PLC or Sole trader

Sounds sketchy OP - think you some professional consultation than just posting question by question. You are making stealth complicated

Turner Little in the UK is an option.

you do not need a business bank account , any old bank account is good enough, even savers.

Following up this thread:

After phone and skype conversations with 2 company providers both offered a very similar solution:

- Creating an offshore trust company with offshore bank account and nominee
- Creating x onshore companies with nominee director & secretary & minority shareholder - operating onshore bank account - trust as beneficiary owner

so if one onshore company gets banned by eb; pp or az just form another one with the same beneficiary owner (trust). Subject to not disclosing the bo to eb; pp or az

On monday I'll have a talk with ocra as they were recommended to me by someone.
