| | ebay check for ltd.? Does ebay check companieshouse (or other sources) for the beneficiary owner or director of a ltd. company if the company opens an ebay acc? |
| oompaloompa | 01-13-2015 02:26 PM | Re: ebay check for ltd.? they might, anyone can look.
doubt they would look routinely, unless they were on safari for some reason.... |
Re: ebay check for ltd.? so it's better to change the director after opening the bank acc? |
| oompaloompa | 01-13-2015 02:34 PM | Re: ebay check for ltd.? bank acc? what has that got to do with it? |
Re: ebay check for ltd.? No paid nominee director will open a bank account. The person who forms the company has to do it by him-/ herself.
Then the director can be changed and the ebay account be opened. |
| JamesNorth101 | 01-13-2015 03:16 PM | Re: ebay check for ltd.? Who would you be changing the director to?
Best not to get friends and family involved in things like this. |
Re: ebay check for ltd.? some professional nominee director provided by the formation company. |
| Callidus | 01-13-2015 03:39 PM | Re: ebay check for ltd.? Yes they do check companies house |
| GreenBean | 01-13-2015 03:39 PM | Re: ebay check for ltd.? If this is for the UK, all the info needed for a business account is traceable.
Think carefully of any actions you take. |
Re: ebay check for ltd.? Then it will be a little bit more difficult as I'll have to find a nominee director who will open the bank acc. as well as the ebay acc. |
| JamesNorth101 | 01-13-2015 03:52 PM | Re: ebay check for ltd.? Why not just stick with a sole trader and premier PayPal?]
What do you hope to gain by going with a Ltd company? |
Re: ebay check for ltd.? Forming a company is easier for me then searching for a trader I can work with. Ltd. formation can be done online. As I'm not from or in the UK it seems to be easier.
Another aspect for me is less liability |
| Callidus | 01-14-2015 04:17 AM | Re: ebay check for ltd.? There is no hassles if you run as a sole trader.....there is no database to search for the owner of the sole trader company. This works in your favour as Joe Bloggs could be running the business. |

Beside that I'm not UK resident as they won't open a bank account for non residents very easy. At least not the high street banks. Just had a conversation this morning with Barclays International department and the lady told me that they only open bank accounts for non UK residents if there is an anual turnover of GBP 5 mln. whether it's a Ltd.; PLC or Sole trader |
Re: ebay check for ltd.? Sounds sketchy OP - think you some professional consultation than just posting question by question. You are making stealth complicated |

Re: ebay check for ltd.? Following up this thread:
After phone and skype conversations with 2 company providers both offered a very similar solution:
- Creating an offshore trust company with offshore bank account and nominee
- Creating x onshore companies with nominee director & secretary & minority shareholder - operating onshore bank account - trust as beneficiary owner
so if one onshore company gets banned by eb; pp or az just form another one with the same beneficiary owner (trust). Subject to not disclosing the bo to eb; pp or az
On monday I'll have a talk with ocra as they were recommended to me by someone. |

Why are you so sticked to the company and eb and pp accounts under company name?
Wouldnt it be easier to buy or open any stealth account under any name, make it business account, and then have a premier pp account under the same stealth name and add a bank account under your ltd name. You would only need to have some kind of branch or rented office in the UK to open a bank account, or am i wrong here? And then just to use the bank accounts which let mismatched acc work with pp? |
| notsosureaboutit | 06-09-2015 07:34 AM | Re: ebay check for ltd.? Not far from Cyprus to UK, flight should be cheap. Open a bank account with one of the banks who don't mind mismatched names, buy stealth account from the forum and you are ready to go.
Even if you have limited or any other company in the uk you need a registered office in the uk, and if you plan to get one online, for sure some scammer has used the same address before and you will be linked. For each company you will need a registered office address which cost around 60-100 pounds or even more. If you have nominee director, they don't come for free, and again for sure the same name has been used by scammers. Now you want to go offshore / onshore / trust etc its way to complicated and getting very expensive.
I did read that with some banks you can open an account with just the passport if you are lucky. Have some valid address ready when they ask. Probably that was in some small branch of the bank. .... There are some websites that will be able to help you to get introduced to UK banks, as long as you are able to go there and sign the papers at the branch.
Let us know how it goes, because I am still figuring out whats the best way for my UK Limited to operate. |

Very cheap, and you only need to do this once. Something similar with every company director.
There are a lot of people on this forum who canīt see why some of us are willing to complicate things a bit more in order to get more stable stealth accounts and not have to provide "creative" documents to Paypal. In my opinion, if a business account pass ebay and paypal initial checks, there is very little chance that you will be bothered in the future, unless you are not providing a decent customer service or selling something illegal. |

If so I'm interested lol. I'm registered for vat though, could I just file the '⊗⊗⊗⊗' companies as having no turnover and put it all through my main company account? Getting into the realms of fraud aren't we? vat returns for 10+ companies would get too expensive though..? |

You use your "stealth companies" info to raise your Paypal limits but you use your real business bank accounts in those Paypal accounts.. Of course you pay all your taxes and declare all your incoming with you real company. Where is the fraud there??
Also if your "stealth companies" remain dormant and are not VAT registered, you do not need to submit any VAT return. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 06:17 AM. | |
