I can echo this, as I have said in couple of previous posts, Barclays just are not receiving or are not prepared to give us the Entropay code, they can see Entropay London, but that is all, and this seems to be the situation whatever I call the code or whatever time of day I ring them, whether this has anything to do with the code only being visible to them for a brief period of time, and we have no way of knowing when in the day that brief period of time is!

Barclays have always been snotty about helping.

Some of their tellers act like the funds are coming out of their own wallet.

[quote=joffieJaffa;634708]Could be a waste of a bank account if he has one already added.

Much better to just buy a one off vcc.[/quote

Thought other person was using his.barclays to be the card linked to entropay to fund all the.vcc,s.
It wouldnt be a waste of a bank account as he is referring to the problem with entropay, not pp. They dont share details.

But i agree that if OP can get another vcc, it would save all the hassle.

I have 2 lloyds accounts FINE on my entropay accounts.

I phoned lloyds and they sent me to collections to get my approval code.

Dont know what reason you have for saying lloyds is wrong.

We have a Wilkinson store in our nearest main town, never noticed in they do these vanilla visa's, on the other hand if they only do them in £25 and £50 values, that sounds suspiciously like other pre-paid cards in this country that once you have used the money on them they cannot be reloaded, so you literally can only use the £25 or £50 and then that's it, you might as well throw them in the bin, they certainly wouldn't be any use for anything that needed to be paid or had a value over £50 and could never be used again anyway, the other thing with pre-paids in the UK is that they cannot be linked to PayPal anyway, maybe in the future, but definately not now.

This is why 3V is best, you can send money from one card number to another

3v sounds like it coukd be a very useful option Bunneh, so they can be topped up as well eh! One of the few widely accepted cards of it's type available to us here in the UK.

Right I see, so there is no limit in theory to the numbers of 3v cards that could be bought, because that is another problem with pre-paid cards in this country they can be small limits on how many one person can buy. I bought one from the post office, it was one of their generically created pre-paids, it coukd definately not be used with paypal, in fact it was very gradually being introduced for any sort of Internet buying, and that was only towards the end of last year so recent

Tried to confirm a stealth with 3V yesterday Paypal wouldn't accept it so it looks like VCC's from the wonderful people on here is my only route now.

Or entropay is a good option suitable for stealth.
Yes, a chew on sometimes with codes but entropay usually deal with any probs you have if you drop them a message :-)

I'm going to have one final go at Entropay there's a saying along the lines that "if you sling enough mud at something it eventually sticks" (Kept it clean)

I hope this is the case!

Having said that halo honey, they stopped replying to my emails to them when I could not get that authorisation code from Barclays late last year!, one or two forum members have since commented that maybe Barclays Bank is not the best bank for using if people want to use Entropay, as they deny ever seeing the code when we ring them up, I had to abandon my attempts and move on!

Agreed...yes people do seem to have been.having probs with barclays.
I use Lloyds....a couple of teething probs in the beginning but was easily resolved.
So agree....perhaps adding a different bank to Barclays might be a wise move to save all the hassle :-)

Barclay's still works great for stealth accounts, so changing the bank just to try and use Entropay will not always be the best option, some people may prefer to just use different VCC, there are no doubt some super one's that can be bought in the marketplace on this forum that are perfectly useable with eBay/PayPal.
