Default Linking via eBay app

Hey guys,

So today I have upgraded to Virgin fibre optic broadband and a have a question regarding linking accounts. By the way I haven't made a stealth account yet.

I have a buyer account in my name which has the same details as my original suspended account. I use the mobile eBay app to browse for items and purchase things that I need from here. Once I have a new IP address will I be ok to browse on my eBay account still without the buyer account logged in? Or will eBay still be able to link my account to the new IP even though I'm not signed in.

I just want to be able to browse from my phone for general non business eBay purchases as it's more convenient. I propose to go through my phones browser via mobile network if I ever need to buy anything.

Thanks.

There's always Browsers, work just as good as an App, I personally don't like Ebay/PP apps. I use Atomic Browser for iPhone when I log into Ebay from my Phone and so far no issues.

OP - You may well find this thread useful when it comes to changing your IP with VM.

Best to avoid the APP. Brings nothing but trouble.

Cheers guys. I think I will use a different browser for my buyer eBay account and only log into it when I am on 4G i.e. not via wifi.

The different web browser should sort the problem re cookies and linking accounts on my phone right? Or will eBay still know if I log into say safari for my stealth (wifi) and chrome for my buyer account (4G)?

James, your thread on the super hub is one of the main reasons I upgraded to fibre optic in the first place

Haven't tested it yet but lets hope it works (which I have no doubt over).

That would do the job

Just make sure you never get them crossed over

Great, yeah it's quite risky but I hope it will be ok.

I will only have one stealth account at first as I don't propose to be as much of a big time seller as some of you guys on here (well initially anyway).

The buyer account will only be used on the odd occasion to purchase things that I need from eBay.

I was also contemplating going full whack via mobile internet with a separate phone. I remember reading someone on here saying that they do that but I can't remember who...will have to do some searching around.

Everything is a bit up in the air at the moment but I was expecting this when I started my stealth journey!
