Holding Funds After 180 Days - Here We Go!

So, even though a huge almost five figure sum was made available for withdrawal two months after limitation back in Feb, now the 180 days has expired, I still have a few hundred quid to withdraw.

Phone Call 1 Yesterday

ME:

Explains situation, and mentioned 180 days is up so I would like to withdraw.

PP REP:

Yes, I can see that you should of been able to withdraw, I will email compliance and get this sorted for you, should be fine in 24 hours.

24 Hours Later - Nothing

Phone Call 2 -

PP REP:

We do'nt seem to have your ID so you can't withdrawal.

ME:

Yes you do and you have my ID since September and even more ID in December, and I have already made a huge withdrawal in Feb.

PP REP:

Sorry nothing I can do, your account is limited *hangs up*

Phone Call 3 -

ME:

Explains situation again from the start. Ask them to agree to their own policy.

PP REP:

I don't have any of the information so I cannot make this withdrawal able for you. I will escalate this to an investigation to try and find why there is no information on your account. I cannot even see this withdrawal you talk about in February. Please wait for 24 hours for a response.

Soo....PP playing silly buggers again, thankfully its not much, but can imagine others may be getting into similar bother, so be prepared folks!

At least you got the vast bulk of funds out.

No harm in keeping calling them to try to get funds out. It only takes 1 decent rep! :thumb:

Very very true, I think I will start a daily call, get to know them all by name and become the regular caller just for a daily chat if nothing else, nothing to lose :)

But yes thankfully the big sum became free...I would of cried, alot, if they stole that.

I AM ALONE , BUT IF 100 OR MORE SELLERS WILL FILE COMPLAINT TO ATTORNEY GENERAL IN YOUR STATE AND AGENCIES REGULATING MONEY BUSINESS SERVICES, AMAZON WILL HAVE TO CHANGE .
WE WANT FAIR AND JUST TREATMENT!!
Encourage other sellers to do the same, and Amazons licence will be at risk of being suspended or even BETTER revoked!
As money business service provider Amazon violates not only the any state's money transmitter laws but also its own agreement.
WE NEED TO FIGHT BACK against Amazons abusive business practices.

Amazon believes they have the right to hold onto sellers funds for up to 90 days and beyond and release them as they see fit. How is that legal?

When you are putting stealth names/info, this is the risk you take...

To bring light to this is going to cause tighter regulations and issues.

The key is to never put all of your eggs in one basket.

Financial institutions get involved and a LOT of our stealth practices will go OUT THE WINDOW!

How do the newbies manage to dig up these old threads?
