Limited Paypal, eBay want their fee money

Hi all,

I'm in a bit of a predicament. My PayPal account got limited because it wasn't verified and i've received too much, every company in that sector has to verify peoples information so I know it's a standard procedure.

I wasn't even going to bother getting it sorted out but i've got over £600 in the account. I owe eBay £124 and that's all I'm really bothered about, I want to pay them but I can't.

I'm starting to think now it's been so long for me to supply the documents that they won't even limit me

If I leave the account as it is and pay via cheque etc will they give me my money eventually? because it's money laundry related i don't think they're allowed if I can't prove who I say I am.

I am a bit confuddled.

Are you saying in simpler terms, your paypal is limited, you havent supplied docs as yet, and you owe ebay an amount?

Pay ebay by VCC, if you have the money to trade, you have the money to pay fees. You can't pay ebay fees through paypal e-cheque now your account is limited

If docs are being requested by PayPal, send them over.

Then wait it out till 180 days, may be earlier.

Your not going to be able to pay via PayPal if the PayPal is limited.

Use a VCC (Entropay works well) and pay eBay directly.

PayPal can and do keep funds if docs are not supplied, so they may well be needed, if not now then later.

Alternatively pay by credit or debit card via paypal using the "pay by card" option without logging in although they will likely refuse any cards connected to your limited paypal account but they won't refuse to pay if you use a different card.

MY earliest limited paypal account uses an email address I've had for 13 years but when I buy from any retailer or even on ebay using paypal I just click the "pay by card" option.

I got a couple of accounts limited, yesterday i tried calling them to settle some things, and they let me pay my ebay fees with limited money i had, but today i tried on a diffrent account and i went through 7 reps getting tossed from a paypal rep back to ebay. And at the end said they couldnt do it.

Give it a shot, maybe you might get lucky

Mmmm I paid some fees on an eBay Stealth account I was suspended from with a new halifax credit card registered to my current address so completely unrelated to the account in question, completely different AVS details.

I would go with James advice personally.

Not sure why so much discussion, VCC, pay the fees, send the docs, wait the time.

Move on.
