There's plenty of examples on here of accounts going quite well without following every single step you would usually follow , just as there is of suspensions for people who do everything they're supposed to.

Nothing is 100% set in stone

You've taken things out of context and proportion.

The advice I give is based solely on the OP and cannot be generalised nor extrapolated in other circumstances.

I understand what the OP is trying to do, hence I am giving him advice. This is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to other threads the OP has opened in relation to this matter.

Further to your previous post - most people on this forum are here for accounts which will last as long as possible, years, if not longer. Trying to rinse an account out of a few extra months is not the ideal goal on the forum, hence why nobody advises that. Though it is an option and can sometimes work. For others who tend to get themselves into the mess purposely, wont work so much!

Hope this helps :)

Linking in a new PayPal to an eBay that is already linked to an suspend PayPal does work for a while. The problem is that it will nearly always eventually get shut down.

So you would be using a bank account on an account that will 99% of the time get shut down after a few weeks or a few months (if lucky). As a long term solution its not ideal.

The posts are for general recommendations - of course, your choice to follow or not

I think the same address is an option to use further down the line for the wife....just not soon after banishment of OP account.

she could start with a buying acc in the future and then switch it to seller...just not right now....

I have seen it work out a year or more later......depends how serious the transgressions were or if money is owed etc....

A long term account is what we all want but what is the problem with lengthening the existence of a perfectly good ebay account that has good feedback.

No point whatsoever in throwing it away.
If the new paypal account ends up being closed along with the new paypal account it doesn't matter as he can start again with both.

My ebay account had more than 200 feedback when the paypal account was limited so I decided to open a new paypal account and continue with the existing ebay one. 6 months later I have over 400 feedback and things are still going smoothly.

Presumably at some point I will need to start again but I'm glad I didn't just abandon the ebay account which has brought me in several thousand pounds since I changed paypal accounts.

And if multiple paypal and ebay are the way to go then nothing wrong with opening new ones while keeping the old one going as long as possible
