If a buyer is trying to return an item and the return policy says buyer must pay returns
But the buyer has used the ( item missing parts )

When it's not ...

And the buyer will not pay the return cost

Any help on what's the best way to deal with this.

They PayPal can try to use the DD to take funds from your bank account.

If the buyer will not pay to return the item then eBay should not be refunding them. Sometimes eBay will pay their return costs for them though (you wouldnt get charged)

Am I right in thinking with the miss-Match name the DD will return back to them.

Not always, but it will fail a lot of the time.

And if there's any hint that the DD will be used to take money you don't want them to take you can simply cancel the DD although I believe that will block that account being used again for payments. They won't let you setup the DD a second time once its cancelled
