No.
If anything a business would be more in need of a larger allowance but changing your account to business does not help with monthly limits either.

Once you reach certain limits , depending on what you sell, ebay may ask you to change to a business account before they will allow an increase but unfortunately this usually involves a phone call and a chat to someone about the specifics of your business and what you plan to sell.
If you've been banned before this is best avoided.

If you want to sell more just spread it out over several unconnected accounts.

Swap to buisness, sell to your limits, and they will automatically be increased over time. No need to call unless you want a bigger limit immediately and want to take that chance.

Nothing to tasking about the phone call, they will ask you to confirm details, ask for one of your suppliers names, chat about any bad feedback etc. No major specifics and nothing to invasive.

There is a topic about this and the Cassini engine eBay uses. Sometimes private sellers do get higher positions in the listings.

Increased limits - sell to your max everymonth, and it will increase normally.

One of my accounts has sold to its limits every month for the past 4 months - no increase here.
It asks me to change to business but I don't want to do that.

Is there a fixed limit that is an across the board max for all private sellers?

My limits are rarely the same from one account to the next
