From what i understand, you really dont need to change your address on entropay, as this may cause you problems with them, not e bay or p pal, and it seems really handy to have an active entro pay account to use.
The whole idea of entropay is, they are anonymous cards, there are no names on the cards, you just pick a name to give them for your own records when you create a new card - for example, i have 3, one is called entropay virtual visa, the other is called no2, and the other is called no3.

stealth use aside, the main reason a lot of people use vccs is because they get to have a credit card without sharing any of their personal information, so there is no way p pal will know what name is on the card - just the number and verification code.

Please correct me if i am wrong anyone, but it seems that if you are changing addresses on entr opay then you are making it more complicated for yourself - just stick to your real name and address with entro, then whenever you create a new card, just give the number to p pal and tell them whatever name you like, there is no way they can find out otherwise!

to bank probably but i am struggling to see why my account will not verify with entropay card when it works for everyone else i would like to get a bit og age on some of my accounts before i add a bank

just to add i bow have 3 pp accounts in different addresses i tried to verify them all with entropay and none have been verified

i have now added a bank account to one of them to verify that way i am just awaiting deposits

Hello guys, it's nice thread, thank you very much for it, as I understand we UK ppl can create Entropay virtual card to verify paypal, so that's fine, the only one question is how to withdraw money later from paypal after I opened entropay, created account on paypal, verified it with entropay, created ebay account linked it to paypal, and finally earn some money? So how to withdraw money now from pp?
Do I have to connect my bank account? But how can I do that if my bank acc is made on my real name and I use stealth name with pp?

Use a bank that accepts deposits in different names and you will be good to go worte! PP doesn't see the name on the bank account . Just don't send money from the bank account and deposit in PP by mistake.

PayPal cant see the name on your bank account due to data protectino laws.

So as long as your bank accepts debits incoming from a different name you can use any stealth name you like.

Thank you guys for your replys, ok so I opened an entropay VCC, I opened a paypal account, I add my VCC to my PayPal, the question is why I had to do that?
To become verified on UK PayPal, they ask me to add my bank account? So what was the point in adding entropay VCC if I can't become verified with it in UK PayPal?

Ok I think I get that, they took 1 Pound from my entropay card, I suppose now I have to wait 2-3 days to receive a 4 digit code in statement right?
And than I will be able to verify my PayPal account with it right?

Now another question is they need to send deposits to my bank account to confirm it, what should be written in account holder name field when on the page where they ask bank details? If this field will be on my stealth name will the deposits come to my bank?

I have a same situation as xortex, they charged 1 pound on my VCC and there is no place to put 4 digit code if I ever will receive it in my VCC statement, when I click on Complete Verification, it ask me to add a bank.

Do they add the 0.97 to your balance later? In North America, they charge 1.95 - then give you a 4 code to put in - then they credit your account with 1.95

ok, this thread needs clipping as its not correct. OP was asking about verify paypal with vcc, I think my answer was not clear, what I meant to say is you verify your VCC on paypal by adding it and getting expuse. That verifies that you own the vcc. It then can be used as a back up or main fees source or funds for buying.

In UK though if you want to actually verify the paypal in order to attach it to seller account, you must add bank. If you want to withdraw you need to add a bank.

When people say the word "VERIFY" I have always assumed it means to turn an unverified pp account into a verified pp account ready to be attached to an ebay seller account. It appears there is some abberances in syntax? Bit confusing
