RBS i have 2 normal accounts and 11 savers.

BOS - 3 normal accounts 2 savers

TSB - 1 normal account 1 saver

TEsco - 1 normal 2 savers

barclay - 1 normal

nationwide - 1 normal 1 saver

im not sure if having all these bank accounts look bad for your credit, but hey ho the things you do to make a dollar.

Thanks for your reply,

Just a quick question,

Do you get different account numbers and sort codes for every account you have with the same bank?

You generally get the same sort codes with the same bank They're usually used to identify the bank.
The account numbers are always different though.

The sort codes also identify the branch the account was opened at. Although some generic online accounts may have a single sort code.

So in the unlikely event anything ever happened to an Amazon or eBay account, it would be much easier to just set up another stealth amazon or eBay account with the different account number then having to sign up with a new bank altogether.

Depends on the bank. Some make you jump through all the same hoops regardless of the fact that you are an existing customer. This is certainly an advantage of some savers, where you can open online and get sort code and account number instantly, although the actual accounts can take 24 hours to activate.
