Paypal code- 4 digit bank verification

Do I ask about the 4 digit code first or wait until they have confirmed that the trading name is correct first.

Sorry about this, but I do not want to mess this up.

How would you go about it in a round about way ?

I would ak about the trading name first, if that isn't close enough then the 4 digit code is irrelevant.

I have just been looking through my business bank account and noticed that I have already verified a paypal account from that account. It was done 3 years ago..............the paypal account in question is a business account matching my bank exactly and it is totally legitimate. Totally forgot about it..........ffs

This obviously changes things

Question now is, would it be safe to use this paypal account on my current ebay account or am I now TOAST..........

I added a new Santander account onto a stealth on 28 march and got no code, ive just checked online banking and its appeared today 11 april, only 2 weeks I had to wait for the code

UPDATE - For anyone that is interested and has read this thread, the codes came through today.......on both accounts.

Paypal made 0.01p deposits last week with no code and then today they have made another deposit on both Halifax and tsb account and they have the codes. Both accounts now verified without an issue.

Not sure why the codes have been delayed but maybe useful for other users to know in case it happens to them.

Same here with natwest. I spoke to PayPal and they said they had some technical issues with codes over the past two weeks.

I've been having this problem for two weeks now.

Phoned up 6 times (diff accounts) and had the code resent manually and it comes brought instantly when the lovely Irish chap puts it through rather than the online system.

Today, however, the guy said 'don't worry, I've manually confirmed the bank'. Didn't have to do anything and the account now says confirmed. Stealth details so not something sinister (in terms of bank/PayPal collaboration) but still odd, no?
