Yes in theory but quite often they will stop you sending large amounts right away

not if your account is limited for receiving £1900

you will need to pass the limitations first.

Ahh, I missed that bit!

Yes OP if you are limited for going over the receiving limit on the PayPal then the only option you have is to send them over ID

We're sorry, we can't add this card. Please try adding a different card to your account.

Far too small amount of funds.

Should be adding at least £5 or more.

I always add £10 and never have an issue.

But adding a card does not have anything to do with amount of funds in it?
only confirming

This happened to me a while back...went through eventually they two days later a long standing account got limited. I trust Entropay to work with PayPal Stealth the same as I trust the Tory Government.

Entropay does work fine. It would not be the reason your account was limited wired

I am afraid I cannot agree with this. I appreciate some of you account sellers make lots of money out of using Entropay to set up your accounts as of the ease of the service, but as its been discussed before on previous threads, Entropay is fully on the PP radar, and will instantly add a notch against the legitimacy of an account.

To further elaborate, I also tried putting an Entropay card on my legit account, thats been active and in use for fifteen years. It went through, two days later it was limited. I had to call up and go through all the rubbish, and it was reinstated. So, do I trust Entropay? Two accounts, one legit, both problematic after renewing credit card info with entropay cards getting limited? I definitely don't, and I do feel it was a massive part in the limitation of the main account.

Ok agreed on behalf of everyone on this forum that Entropay could of played a part in your limitation. But buddy, take a step back and admit that other factors could of influenced it as well? How is it most people including myself use entropay faultlessly, yet you have so many issues. In such case, you just gotta take the buck that your doing something wrong somewhere.

I use Neteller cards on some of my accounts and like JamesNorth101 says, they do AVS check on this card. What you need to do is change the address on your Neteller account to the one on the PayPal account you are trying to confirm. Once you change it, wait a few minutes and add it to PayPal and confirm. Make sure there is about £5 in your Neteller balance.

Once PayPal has done the charge for the 4 digit code, you can get it immediately by checking your recent/pending transactions on your Neteller account. Once confirmed, you can change the address on Neteller back to your home address.

As for the £1800 limit you will still need to provide them proof of id and address.

Yes, I must be doing something wrong on a fifteen year old genuine account that isn't used for selling.

The entropay issue seems to be when reconfirming an expired credit card after a year or so. Im not the only person this has happened to. Its still easy to set up accounts with Entropay and they work fine for the year of the VCC.

I appreciate you're becoming more entwined in the forum so you can start selling accounts though, so understand your comments.

My experience is as my experience, as noted.

Money and account selling has nothing to do with it.

I often don't use Entropay on the accounts I sell, not because there is anything wrong with Entropay, but because they expiry is only 12 months. I tend to use 36 month VCCs on both the accounts I sell and my own person accounts. This means I don't have much of a vested interest in saying Entropay works.

When I do use Entropay though I do not have issues. Entropay may be a small factor in why your account got limited granted, but it will not be the sole reason. If it was the sole reason then there would be a lot more threads and posts about people having issue with Entropay

£3 used to work for me.

I prefer more anon cards though, like someone said earlier about trust, not sure if I trust a real bank that issues cards, giving them real details, they could get turned over or their records looked at.....one day (when the robots rule the earth).

I'm used to create my own ebay and paypals. I created around 10 accounts in 2015 and everything went smooth with entropay. I use the entropay card both for verification and for first purchases in ebay, to age the account. I purchase some cheap items .

This week I did exactly same process, I always do the process mimicking a real customer, (real local ips, not using vpns, real cellphone numbers, not virtual numbers, etc).

But I had weird problems with the entropay card, and I had the same problem with the 2 new accounts I created last week.

Let me explain:
-I purchased successfully with the entropay card in ebay and paypal during last week.
-Last friday I verified the card.
-Today I received errors, was in my local language (something like: we can't process your payment with this card, try with another one).
-I confirmed that there were enough funds in entropay, and there was around 14€ available, and the ebay purchase was around 3€.
-I tried again with the same problem.
-I finalized this purchase in ebay writing card details in ebay and worked.
-I tried again, I did a new purchase, but checking the paypal box in ebay, like I did in the first purchase, and failed again.
-Then I added 1 of my local bank virtual debit card (I can create only 10 virtual debit cards with my real local bank account, and usually don't like to use those because I don't want to be linked to the stealth accounts).
-With the new card, I successfully bought from ebay using paypal.
-After I tried a new purchase, but now selecting the first entropay card during paypal checkout and the payment was done sucessfully with the entropay card that wasn't working 10 minutes before.

I experienced this situation with both accounts created last week.
Don't know if it matters, but both accounts had bank account confirmed aswell (I received both microdeposits and confirmed in paypal).

It's very strange problem, because the entropay worked fine with paypal for the first purchases (3 items bought), and after stopped working to start working again after doing a purchase with the virtual debit card from my bank.

My guess is the entropay bin is under paypal radar and with other factors can trigger this problem.

And the weird thing is that the entropay card worked again after using my local bank virtual card bin, I wasn't expecting to be able to succesfully purchase

But If its working for other people, and worked for me in the past, and few days ago worked fine, I can't understand which other factors are affecting my accounts, but probably is because are new accounts.

It's a problem for me because I'll need to find an alternative to entropay.

Does anyone know if there is acheap and convenient alternative to entropay?
