Can't keep opening current accounts
Hey guys
I'm trying to build some new stealth accounts but don't want to continue opening new current accounts and have read you can use saving accounts. This is were I'm at so far with both accounts:
Account one: Added a Halifax savings account and PayPal sent me an email four days after:
Dear ------,
Your bank has let us know that you can’t use your bank account ending in ----to fund PayPal payments. If you already have a card linked to your PayPal account, we’ll use it to fund your future payments.
I then removed that savings account and added a HSBC savings account. Today is four days after and I haven't received any email stating the same thing.
Account Two: Added HSBC savings account two days ago and haven't received any additional emails other than the usual emails after adding a bank account.
So I heard that HSBC saving accounts can accept direct debits and this makes sense because I can send international payments from this account aswell. Is this information correct and will I be fine using HSBC saving accounts for these stealth accounts? If so and I continue to add further accounts, with withdrawals entering all these different accounts under different names will my bank get funny with this? This is a 'personal' account I've had for over 15 years.
Also does it matter that PayPal sent me this email for account one? Would I have been fine to keep the Halifax Savers account, as they stated they will fund future payments from the card attached to the account. Obviously they wont be able to as this is just a VCC used for creating the account.
Any help will be much appreciated.
