IP address changing

Hi all,

Been running multiple account for many years now and thanks to the guide from here have never had a single one pulled since then.

My issue at the moment is that I have discovered my new internet provider and modem will not reset to a new IP number upon switching off and on again.

I have been using that method for years when changing between accounts with no apparent problems.

6 months ago I change to a fibre broadband connection and a Techncolor router from my new provider. I simply assumed that as before switching off and on again would give a new IP number but to my horror today I found this wasn't the case, it stays the same number all the time.

How do I solve this problem?

BTW, how I have got away with skipping between all my accounts, ebay and paypal with the same ip address and not been caught is a mystery to me.

As you say you havent lost an account yet. It's very likely if you lose one then the whole lot will go down.

Regarding IP, use a mobile broadband dongle.

You could use cellular using the mobile hotspot or tethering. Turning the phone on/off or airplane mode on/off will give you multiple IP's.

or a Dongle or MiFi..

This is what i have been doing since i discovered the issue by using my Iphone as a hotspot.

I noticed by doing this the IP# would refresh but unfortunately at my home i tend to just get 3G which is slow for uploading new sales pictures.

Yes i agree, this was why i was shocked to find out the resetting of my modem didn't change the number this time.

Don't know why this isn't happening now and it was simply a by chance play with IP Burger that caught this.

I have been going in and out all 10 of my active accounts for best part of 7-months now with effectively the same IP number and raised no suspicions.

Each of these accounts are pulling in £500 a month so either i'm not raising any suspicions or they are getting lax.

Using my iphone atm to cover this but seeking a solution.

What ISP are you using?
