Yes they do, I've verified 2 paypal accounts with savings accounts.

There are many people on this board selling VERO's that don't have that many accounts going down...

Savings accounts DO work for paypal..

GreenBean 03-02-2008 05:07 PM

mattcaf, RBS may be suitable for you. Another UK person uses that bank.

Savings accounts, are NO different to current accounts, you have your account number.. and sort code.. exactly as you would with a current account.. plus side with savings accounts, is they have no need to cross reference you on credit sited.. such as Experiean, Equifax etc... and they work 100% in verifying with paypal.. i your using internet banking, the deposits are made within 48 hrs, and your p/p account is verified... piece of p*ss..

Even saving account can be verified by paypal, but it can not set up direct debit. How do you transfer money from paypal to your saving account?

thank you.

Ah thats must of been what the problem is, it wouldnt withdraw money

mantisinc 03-03-2008 03:24 PM

I don't know what the thing is with savings accounts, I've never had any issues.
Although, I've never had paypal take money OUT of the account.

Iwill try to set up paypal by saving account as you said. Could you please tell me how I can withdraw the fund from paypal to bank account? we don't want the money is just in paypal.

thanks

koalawash 03-04-2008 02:58 AM

You withdraw it the same way you would with a checking account.

scouse12345 03-04-2008 07:54 AM

Some people need information nailing to the foreheads.... PAYPAL WILL AND DO ACCEPT SAVINGS ACCOUNTS AS ""VERIFICATION" AND YOU CAN "WITHDRAW" TO A SAVINGS ACCOUNT>

They have no idea what type of account you choose to use is..

mattcafc 03-07-2008 05:34 PM

Still no way round this?

Very annoying having to make a new paypal account for every new Ebay account. Definatly limits trading, as its now a much more lenghty process if you want many accounts

GreenBean 03-07-2008 06:11 PM

mattcafc, right it is a pain. But if you create the accounts in the ways described, they tend to stay up and running. So for that bit of blood toil and sweat it is worthwhile. I don't know about you but those rotten ebay/paypal
emails are far worse.

Problem is I sell vero items so my accounts only stay open for around 3 weeks. Which will mean I need lots of paypal accounts, which is a ****, when up till now i have only needed to make ebay accounts

here in the uk they dont ask for anything like that, well we dont have a ss no. but we have a ni no. but they dont ask for it, that will probably be there next move.

Yep, have had accounts open for over a year a few times. Many people on here have multiple accounts well over 12 months old

Here in the UK they wouldn't get away with asking for our NI numbers, government protection and its a violation / offence to do so. Hence why banks aren't allowed to do it.
