all you need bud is a dongle,a new windows user account and fresh details and your good to go

get a vcc off me and add your own bank account and your away

mac address changes your a Static IP address, its a pain,a dongle will save you alot of time honestly and we all know time is money and time waits for no man

I use my phone some times

not sure about other smart phones but my htc is a windows phone.

Anyway, its more or less the same as using a dongle, people do it all the time.

what if you have never used the phone on bay before and only use it for one account .

suppose there is a possabillity of linkage if not managed right just like any other .

Eh? I dont understand what you are saying about mobile phone linking... I've been using mobile broadband with GiffGaff for nearly a year now and I've (touch wood!) not had any problems, of course the usual rules apply regarding cookies etc, but are you saying there is some kind of 'linking' that is peculiar to mobile phones?

I dont use a dongle as I dont need one, my phone has a built in HSDPA modem, i'm not going to muck about taking my SIM card out of my phone to put it inside a dongle when I can just connect to the internet using my mobile phone. Do you know if this is definetely a problem? I'm proper paranoid now!

sup jonny

depends on if you are using multiple accounts with the same phone

now am far from an expert on this but,i think there will be some way they can link you

you cant have different user accounts on your phone can you jonny?

eb ay will be able to see the phone you log in with and it will be unique

i am just guessing mate but if you think about it

@bals65, if you are using Ebay's App they might be able to link you, You can always use your phones browser or you can always use 3G, 4G to tether to a laptop, but you would have to do all that good stuff with clearing cookies etc.

If you use your phone to tether don't use the Wifi.

With iphone it's pretty easy, you can download the ebay/paypal app's along with ip manager which keeps a history log of your ip's. Clear history, cookies, cache in settings, switch on/off personal hot spot, check ip in ip manager. Then you're free to login to any account from there.

I don't trust the Ebay/Payal app as far as I can throw my Iphone with my Otterbox Case!

But then again I've never been brave enough to try more than 1 account on the phone.

No, I only use my mobile phones modem to access mobile broadband, I'm not using any Ebay App, I am using my laptop tethered to my mobile phone with Firefox / CCleaner installed etc, the IP address changes quite regularly, even as I'm logged in its changing. I dont see how Ebay would be able to see what phone I'm using?

I dont understand what it is that going to link me though, its not anything that is mentioned in the eBay Stealth manual, all it talks about there is cookies and IP addresses, it doesnt mention anything about not using mobile phones / mobile broadband. I know there are others who use mobile broadband in dongles etc which is exactly the same so surely they would be all getting linked too?
