Thanks. Are these personal or business eB accounts?

OK, thanks.

I opened two personal eB accounts last week, and added mobile numbers to them. I'm thinking to change them to landline numbers, and make them business accounts before requesting a confirmation code, to see if I stand a better chance of skipping the 25/£750 limit and hopefully get the 100/£3500 limit. Or sell to limits, then request the confirmation codes? As some people are getting the 100/£3500 limits straight away, without sales etc.

With the letter you should get 3500/100 if personal or business...As far as im aware... thats how its been working for me...its passed that on personal accounts that i think have a problem unless you ring in or turn to a business.....it seems to be a limit for personal accounts recently created.

Has anyone gone from 10/£650 to 100/£3500 on a brand new account with 0 sales and zero feedback, just by having the confirmation code letter sent out?

Not all of them were new, and rest never mentioned the age of the account. Just need more people to chime in with their results.

WOW!!!

I starting selling items on buyitnow on this new account with the 100 items limit as mentioned in first post and there is NO payment holds on the account.
I have received a few payments.

I hope this is permanent and not a glitch

Does this mean the 21 day holds will only start from your 5th payment or from your first payment you received?

21 day holds can appear at anytime, new / old / top rated / occasional seller

learn to live with them and when you dont have them its a bonus

keep accounts consistent, low risk and deal with any issues quickly and efficiently

if paypal deem your account to be a risk, more than likely you will get the 21 day holds

yep.
I don't sell any high risk or ⊗⊗⊗⊗ items.
I get my items direct from the manufacturer
