Hello people after hours of forum browsing and reading the stealth guide I am about to embark on creating a stealth account. But your advise is needed.
Right here's a break down of whats what.
| Wise idea. Quote:
I have access to a address different to my home address.
I have a natwest bank account in my own name registered to my home address.
I'm thinking about getting a dongle or setting up a VPN to make sure the ip changes and can't
be linked. Not sure which is the best method.
| Sensible stuff about the address & bank account. I'll comment more on the address later in the post. Go for a dongle. Risk of a VPN of being detected. Avoid that wherever possible. You want a long life for this stealth account. Quote:
I have one blocked ebay account from my home address and one ebay account that's still running
(had this before the blocked one but forgot about it until ebay emailed me after blocking one,
saying its been inactive for over 8years and will be closed if I don't sign in and verify
etc).
But this has been linked to the blocked one and has 20/800 limits on it. Can only increase
limits if I verify that the blocked account belongs to me which I don't plan on doing. My
PayPal is fine has no limits whatsoever.
| Avoid issues then. Lucky to have one account going. Kept it so. But bear in mind, it may get linked & found out one day. Then suspension will happen. Quote:
I plan on opening a new PayPal and eBay account with new details. When creating my new PayPal
shall I use my natwest account that has no links to the blocked account.
Will the ebay name and PayPal need to match?
| Of course a bank account must have no link to anything suspended. Current or basic account will be most suitable. It is preferable to have info matching. Just gives the account a better chance with ebay/paypal.Be careful with your choice of names :nono: Quote:
P.s the new address is in the same area on the opposite side of my house. How many stealth accounts can I set up using this new house address? Cheers
| Flaw here for me. Expand on 'the same area on the opposite side of my house'? Are you meaning the same street and postcode. If so, then that's a risk. Ideally you should be really different from any of your other accounts. LINK is the issue. What are your actual long term plans to ask about having more than one account at the same address? Different ways of doing this exist.
