Default Customers with wrong delivery address

I am noticing more and more instances where customers are complaining about not receiving their item and it turns out they have the wrong address listed.

Yes some of these are still insisting to resend to a new address and still threatening bad feedback.

I cant explain how much this annoys me. What do you guys do in these situations?

Before anyone says send by recorded delivery i cannot do its not cost effective.

well you should only send items to the address listed on ebay/ paypal as you are then given seller protection. sending them to different addresses other than what is displayed will make you forfeit your protection.

By the sounds of your situation, it seems for 'cost effective' to send the items recorded, rather than sending out replacements.

Remind the little petals the burden is on them to have correct details on every part of their account, ebay/paypal.

They can be suspended for failure to do that.

Ok i will stick to my guns from now on. But can they still hammer with feedback and DSRs?

As i said its not cost effective to send recorded.

You can ALWAYS get bad feedback , stick to the seller protection and ignore different addresses

Offer a refund and ask them to reorder with their correct delivery address. Though remember you have to provide tracking to be covered under seller protection when it comes to non-receipt claims.

I have had this happen. I tell them STRAIGHT UP, listen I only ship to the address of the verified paypal and eBay - it's not my fault if you have not updated it...you really need to be on top of your account.

Yes they may ding you with DSR and feedback but then you escalate and get eB and pp involved -of course, a lot depends on the cost...I deal with non-replaceable items (when I sell) so I cant afford to refund and replace - I have pushed back against these lazy buyers. I take the negative and DSRs in stride and get eB involved if needed.

yep i had 1 of those paypal address was different from ebay address .

had no reply from them so sent to paypal address.then soon as i put the shipped and tracking number they contacted me..

LOL..i have moved can you send to so so address...
sory love paypal says i have to ship to the paypal address..
but she was a gennuine customer and had the package forwarded to the new address.

but i say sent to paypal address and you are following their rules then..

I always ship to the Paypal address. It is amazing how often you see a different address (and even name) on the ebay account to the paypal one.
