It's our policy never to share exactly what gave us reason to indefinitely restrict an account as this could tell a fraudulent member how to avoid restriction in the future.

My account is in good standing, my items are dispatched same day and have only ever received one negative feedback nearly a year ago. Everything is verified (Bank, PayPal etc.) There is nothing fraudulent on my ebay. I know that this isn't your fault and your only trying to help

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

All is not lost and you have come to the right place.

Make sure you pick up the stealth guide and use it along with the forum to help you get back going.

You got about the most you will ever get out of ebay. Best to just move on and fight back by going stealth. Best of luck,

@OP, might want to edit out your eBay username.

As for the status of the account, prob best to let it go - so much easier to learn stealth and make 5 accounts and rotate sales.

You can always use it for buying if the address is valid - maybe retry an appeal in 6 months or so - worth an option but not worth pushing further now.

That's a typical response.

I would never expect them to do any better.

Have a look at your sellers dashboard. Check your DSRs and look at paypal. You may find clues. Not a given.

Time for stealth to beat ebay.

Yeah I'll try again in a few months I guess, already got some stealth accounts up and running (thanks to you guys), just thought I'd share the idiotic responce I got from the customer support!

i'm in the same situation I rang to get my account restrictions lifted to no avail, they are useless, i don't even know why they have any so called customer support.. you would get more response from a tailor shop dummy !
