Purchased a powerseller
 

Hi. So I purchased a very good business account. It had 2000+ feedback and $50000+ selling limits monthly. My only issue is the address. Would you guys suggest using a f*ak*enamegenerator address? Or what type?

Ugh - why do you need to change the address so quickly? Use an address to which you have access....this is a crazy strong account to be jeopardizing...

Should I not be using a phake address? The seller insisted I changed his information -_-

Better change that information from his IP address, otherwise, that account is toast.

I would rent a PO if possible and use it for this account.

He changed it for me, but it looks I'll need to change it again from the VPS :mad2: I'll rent a PO box too. Thank you

I just applied for one, however it's saying I need two forms of ID. Is this normal?

I live on a different side of the World and it is normal to provide 2 IDs.

It would be better to ask him to give you his browsing cookies, flash cookies, browsing history. Don't ask me how, there is a bunch of software and things for "extracting" them and for exact sites and/or by keyword. Then you place them into the VPS, and should be safe changing the information, because eB would already have those important tracking stuff. Yes, they'll see for example "this user is using IP address X, now switched to IP address Y but still the same cookies, seems that he have changed his ISP/dongle/router reset/etc.; the browser history browsed things are the same old pages/listings, all should be fine then".

one question regarding this type of scenario.

Say you are building cookies/flash cookies/browsing history from scratch. How long before the account is OK to sell on?

I have one that asked me to call in before I could list an item. Could I wait it out? Or is the account flagged and a call is 100% necessary?

I can only speak from experience when RESTARTING accounts on a fresh computer - I have usually bid/browsed for 2-4 weeks before restarting sales - has worked well for me.

I can see my approach as a bit conservative but this has long been my approach

at a rate of every day bidding/brosing for two weeks?

I tried listing after a week and got the prompt to call. Ill try two weeks, but I'm afraid I'm flagged to call regardless.

Crossing my fingers! I have two older accounts with no selling limits

You dont do phake addresses when you have any type of account. don't fall into that trap.

You must have an address you can access.

Avoid flagging the account at all costs for the moment.

I gather you did all this before joinging the forum? Hope it does not backfire.
