Beginner help! Ip address
 

Hello,

Slightly confused.

I was banned from eBay over 4 years ago, and I am looking to get back into selling. I currently log in to my works eBay business account from my home laptop and I haven't had any problems whatsoever, however, I am looking to set up my own account. I ve bought the stealth guide and it seems to make sense

I currently have the following ready to register my new account-
- New user account on my laptop,
- New bank account,
- New mobile number,
- New address,
- New email address,

The one thing I am slightly confused about is my IP address. I have tested my router and when I turn off my router and back on I receive a new IP address.

Will this mean whenever I want to login to my works eBay I will need to turn off my router and back on and then login to the account. Vise versa when I want to login to my new eBay account from my works eBay.

Have I missed anything off that I need to be doing!?

Try to never cross over IP addresses.

Will this mean taking note of every IP address, and then if one that has been used before reset the router again?

Yes that is correct. For convenience I prefer to use a dongle. It's just a lot easier and quicker in my opinion.

You absolutely must not risk your works account with your new ebay account.

to be really safe and properly stealth, please get another way to access the internet to use ebay.

I would not even suggest using the same IP range as your works' account.
ebay may regard that as a link.

Look at a dongle or tethering.

Hello to all my stealth friends! Sorry in advanced if this questions had been asked in the past. Since this is about IP, please allow me to ask a simple question. Your advice/input will be highly appreciated!

Q: Using stealth methods with multiple accounts can I run under one single router/switche? NOT by wireless (LAPTOP) For ex.

User one....... IP: 192.168.25.4 (stealth)
user two........IP: 192.168.24.3 (Stealth)
user three......IP: 192.168.23.2 (stealth)

Can be linked and assume above IPs are from one user? Please keep it in mind ONE ISP will be used with ONE single router/switch but STEATH METHODS( All info diff) Hope I was able to clearly stated.. Your advice will be highly appreciated.....

oh shani! oh shani! That scared me big time.
I'll be blunt.

this would be very poor stealth to run x3 accounts like that.

Yes, you are creating a great chance of being linked. Look to having other ISP options and have variety in making stealth if you are going to the trouble of having multiple accounts.

Remember 192.168... IP addresses are local ones not the ones ebay sees, you have to go to a website that displays your public IP address, like ipburger.com
