I now have had about 6 more ebay accounts requests for managed payments (31 may deadline).

I have submitted new s details for an ebay business account that was in a ltd company name of a relative and their now old address.

It had an ebay business seller id and a another ebay id which is as a private seller. The relative has now passed away and the ltd company was disssolved.

I have changed everything to my real details including correct dob, and show the business as a sole trader and as my real name.

The bank account is a personal bank account which I had been using on the paypal account. Ebay asked for a bank statement and i provided a genuine pdf statement.

They thanked me and said we will let you know. No requests for the private seller id re managed payments yet.

Stealth still works fine so far - the only thing that is left to find out is if the refunds will become an issue if eBay are forced to dip into a bank account (and that is a big if). It would not surprise me if some sort of rolling reserve was introduced at least initially on newer accounts using MP. eBay after all hold funds for up to 21 days on payments going into PayPal accounts so it would be a strange move for them to no longer hold funds at all.

Current fully stealth accounts are being enrolled onto MP. I have yet to be told of anyone that has got a stealth account and has applied being rejected. That doesn't mean it wont have happened or wont happen in the future, its certainly possible, but so far MP is proving easier than PP. Just to beat you to it Pathos this is nothing to do with vested interests. This is just what is happening at the moment. It may well change as if it does you can bet there will be a lot of threads and posts RE accounts being rejected for MP. Bad news gets reported a lot more than good news.
