Does eBay request photo ID as part of registering for MP or only if there are issues matching your given name/address with the bank details?

They appear to only ask for photo ID if name/address doesn't pass their check.

Hi can anyone help pls been reading these post for good few months but mixed opinions

So the name on eBay and the name for managed payments need to match? If not either use a real person details and bank account for mp and different name on eBay ?

Will that work
If you need to add a vat number later just make that real person a director of the company ?
As I the current director was banned on eBay so I can’t now use my real details or the company details for Mp
