I dont know the ins and out, but if you didnt have the funds i'm unsure if its like Etsy where if you didnt have the funds then your balance goes into the red, and you wouldnt get payouts until you made sales.
I would read up on this on the Ebay site

They take the fees straight from the sale of the item and the balance is then availabe for transfer to you bank account after 24 hours. You are able to opt for a daily disbursal or weekly, your choice.

If you have any cases open, the value is held form your available balance.

If you have a look on ebay, it tells you all of this and more.

I read on Ecommerce Bytes that Ebay will only send payments to sellers in Manged Payments on a daily basis, but NO payments on the weekend. So if you sell items on a friday afternoon right through to Sunday the payout wont be initiated until the Monday.

Is it me or is this actually better then the old PayPal system ? I prefer ebay taking raw fees straight away ?

The fees for the shop, if you have one, also needs to come out. Not sure how they do that?

Agree - always hurts to pay those hefty FVFs at the end of the month

I don't suppose they would take shop fees from your bank seeing that they take seller fees and refunds from from your balance on the fly.
If the feature that allows us to pay fees in advance remains, then we can always make sure we pay shop fees in advance from our balance.
