Just out of curiosity, do you think ebay can see the ip address if you just open your email inbox, nothing else? I use gmail. I have tried this before, and the IP is always from google, not my isp IP address.

got update on this. Somehow they managed to charge fees and account was suspended immediately. They tried to charge multiple times without luck except last time. User became unregistered. So do not risk.

Yeah,when I first got this email my red flags went up right away.
