Funds on Hold for 14 days and now is 30 days
 

Initially, my funds are on hold for 14 days on all transactions even if I provide a tracking number.

Then 2 months later, it holds for 7 days and is released in 24 hours if tracking shows delivered.

I have now got 36 feedbacks and have been selling for more than 90 days. Therefore I contacted ebay yesterday. After speaking with ebay CS for more than an hour (transferred 4 times), they told me the following and I found the payment hold now is changed to 30 days :shocked:

what sort of bank account you are using in the MP?

the Ebay reps are just using canned response.
They cant manually overide the bots,so you just have to wait.
What did you sell?

how much turnover in how many transactions do you have per month?

The total turnover is around 1500 pounds with 130 transactions.

The interesting thing is that before the call, I got 7 days hold. After the call, I got 30 days hold.

that is a lot within a few months , in such a situation it is better to reduce the volume

Why they just don't tell the people that you're over some turnover threshold that's triggering procedure to hold your money until you show your business account and company details? I was doing much more then you in 1 month at the peak and that wasn't problem.

7 days on hold- not bad. I wouldn't even try to change my current back account if they could give me that.
I got 62 days [!] That's what I've been told.
And even after this period I had to remind them to get some part of my payout...
Currently it reached back again level of £X XXX!
I got irresistible feeling that this is some sort of short time borrowing system based on people's money guys!
