but watch out , you should always mix purchases and withdrawals. if you do purchases only and never withdraw this may red flag the account as it is a known fraud scheme where fraudsters sell items and use the balance to buy other items to receive them at bogus addresses anonymously and reseller later , this especially applies to high liquidity high value items |

You have no 'red flag' evidence at all.
To imply that someone would buy goods and send to a bogus address anonymously (what the heck does 'anonymously' even mean) to re-sell later is utterly ridiculous. Here's a thought for would be fraudster buyer-resellers....just withdraw your funds like you've been doing for the last few years and cut out the middle man!!! :pound: |

the system is not new , it was common with paypal and now it is coming back on MP
this will be quite a seduction for those sellers to resume sales or start opening uk ebay that is why it is essential to either withdraw here completely or mix withdrawals with purchases |

We're not talking about foreign sellers who can't get a UK bank account, we're not talking about paypal. We're talking about your unsubstantiated nonsense post above.
I will eat my hat if a private seller ever posts saying they were banned from ebay for using their balance to make purchases because it was deemed more of a risk than if they'd simply withdrawn it.
It's a great move by ebay, simply offering an option to spend your earnings with them and even then you have to override the current default payment method. Nothing more complicated than that but yet again you try and turn it into a perceived issue with more of your misinformation. |

foreign run accounts were always present in large quantities , nowadays it is hard to do because UK banks are very restrictive |

Maybe mixing in some withdrawals is a good but really I dont see eBay suspending accounts if the funds are spent on eBay always. That is the goal here afterall from eBay POV. For all we know it could actually make the eBay account stronger if you are showing eBay that all the money you earn on eBay will be spent in eBay.
The only thing I could see people doing and causing problems is if they are using it to dropship and are adding in a new deliver address for each order. Quote:

Seriously, don't even try.... | So for the UK it is instant it always has been but for the US and other countries its different and can take a day or 2 Quote:

foreign run accounts were always present in large quantities , nowadays it is hard to do because UK banks are very restrictive | You would be surprised there are still a lot of banks overseas that can generate a UK account number and sort code that can be used in the UK. The main high street banks are stricter but there are still dozens of easy to open options for people based overseas wanting to run a .co.uk account and withdraw. |

and red flags , do not forget the bots. ebay are like a monster with tentacles , one tentacle tells you you can sell unlimited quantities , another one suspends you for driving up sales for example |

@murdered_by_ebay posts that much nonsense he almost had me questioning my own logic. |
| solefoodbk | 10-25-2024 05:48 AM | Re: ‘eBay Balance’ to replace Managed Payments If you bought a shipping label on eBay and there was issues with it, then you did a chargeback in a hypothetical situation...
I would imagine that would compromise your account in the process. |
| JamesNorth101 | 10-25-2024 07:11 AM | Re: ‘eBay Balance’ to replace Managed Payments Chargeback is just with a CC
Anything else is just a dispute which you do through eBay |
| solefoodbk | 11-05-2024 01:58 PM | Re: ‘eBay Balance’ to replace Managed Payments If you do chargebacks on marketplaces they will suspend you. I guess maybe it's different in this situation. Last time I did a chargeback was on Paypal and I did get restricted. |

Good point,Ebay does not allow retail arbitrage, and this is violating Ebay policy.and the seller could get suspended. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 03:37 AM. | |
